Good year for many crops.

(1/1)

Perry:
We have had a "moist" spring and many of the crops this year are doing extremely well. We had a record year for strawberries, and I drive by this cherry orchard most days and I stopped to take a few pics. Things are looking good! :)

Wandering Man:
Looks like all that snow is paying off.

apisbees:
Those look like sour cherries, and with the way the trees have not been pruned back but the orchard is getting mowed is an indication that he is going for quantity rather than size.
In the Okanagan most of the cherries are the late variety's that are picked mid to late August and are shipped to China.
Cherry pie à la Mode!!!

Wandering Man:
3Reds refuses to eat Cherry Pie, Cherry Cobbler, etc. because she doesn't like biting into those occasional sour cherries.

I,on the other hand think it's worth the risk!

Maybe that explains the difference in our BMI's?

riverbee:
i love cherries! going to montana tomorrow, love the locally grown cherries from the orchards around flathead lake! okay even imported from washington state..... :D
