Title: Cool looking Queen

River gave me two links on to read. click on "Queen Introduction Instructions Glenn Apiaries". Read down a bit and there is pictures of varroa resistant queens. One of them is heavily striped like yours.

Post by: LazyBkpr on April 22, 2014, 11:27:48 pm: I had a tiger striped queen like that out of a cut out.. It took me forever to finally find her.. Once I realized she was striped it was easier to find her after that.. Unfortunately after the cut out she never built up. I am hoping I find more like her.

She hasn't started laying yet but should be any day now. Been 7 days since I got the swarm. They are pulling comb and I added a couple empty
drawn frames. Will stay out for another week or so just to be safe.

I have NO CLUE why she wasnt amused when she walked in...

I thought taking a nap and vacuuming at the same time was very efficient!!!
