anyone have any tricks for cleaning propolis?
-
rober, I have never 'cleaned' propolis. I have put it in the freezer until I have enough to do something with it. I know sometimes I get wood splinters in it while I am removing it with my hive tool. I think you just use it as is.
Maybe Jen can tell us more. I believe she uses propolis for personal use.

I've not cleaned it before but a quick Google search brought up a site that talked about it. Apothobee, or something similar. Also found out you can get $30 a pound for cleaned propolis. Rober, do you use a propolis trap or is this just what you're scraping out? Ted
