A New Man
« on: January 01, 2014, 08:43:05 am »
Been 3 weeks today that i had knee replacement,i'm back on the tractor, working in my shop, and ordering seed for the truck garden. I've taken very little pain pills, the knee hurt worse before surgery than it does now. Of course i'm careful about what i do, so not to reinjure the new knee, but can't believe how much i can already do that i couldn't do 3 weeks ago. I have 2 new knees now and would recommend to anybody with bad knees to get it taken care of.Look out Bees i'm back. Jack

Talk about a truly happy new year.  That is great news, Jack. Next thing we hear will be you took the little lady square dancing.

Great news Jack. nice to be able to get around and do things with out the pain. And being able to quickly get away from the missus when she becomes annoyed with something you have done.
All the best and a continued speedy recovery.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. beekeepers are a strange bunch, although we have never met in person we feel like we are related. 8)I'm not getting to cocky yet, but it's hard to believe how much better i feel to have my legs getting back under me with out the fear of falling or tripping and not be able to catch myself. :-[ Been working in the shop repairing and making new bee equipment, and getting up on the 3020 John Deere to put out hay bales for the cattle, of course the ice and snow we are having makes things a little harder.
