One frame observation hive
« on: October 19, 2021, 12:46:51 pm »
I am ready for the next youth group.  A fellow bee club member was making himself a new one frame observation hive and made me one too!  It's about the size of a good size briefcase.  Perfect for short presentations.

Nice, I made a two frame a couple of months ago and have not had an opportunity to try it out.

This is one a friend made for me.
Each frame housing snaps on, so any number can be added.

Both of those are awesome!  I so badly want a permanent one for in the house.

Who is the kitty, Wally?
I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

The hive is on loan to an ex president of the Guilford County Beekeepers Club.
