he laughed a little, and moved the top of the rake and set it out on the deck.........some discussion on it and why it was in his favorite chair............ :D
so early this morning i hear music playing very loudly...........i have this sound system in my garage.  he rarely turns that on or even up.
so anyway i hear the music booming away...............LOL..........i look out into the back 40 to see him using the roof rake to rake leaves ......... :D :D :D
didn't last long, (he was trying to get my attention).......... but it was totally funny!!!

I bought my wife one of those life time rakes, i like to set under the trees and drink a beer and watch her rake the leaves, when she gets a spot cleared, i'll move my chair and tell her she can rake where my chair was now. We enjoy the fall, she ask me if i would burn the leaf piles before the wind comes up, i told her i don't have any matches and besides i didn't want to breath all that smoke. She said that's all right honey i'll burn the later. Ahhh, life is great. 8)  Jack

It's morning here, so consider me a contrarian for posting on the Good Evening Post at this time of day.  We are having a beautiful Indian Summer here.  The mornings are cool at around 50 degrees F and the  days are in the low 70's.  I finished with my fall plowing yesterday and intend to plant another 30 acres of cover crop today.  Rain is in the forecast for tonight and next week.  If that happens, my cattle and wildlife will enjoy a nice winter.

It's been a really nice year, and I wish many of you were here to enjoy it with me.  If any of you ever drift west of Fort Worth a hundred or so miles, let me know.  Like Iddee, I'll pick you up and put you up for the night.  If the wife is busy dinner will still be on the table.  If she's busy, it will be man food: chili, barbecue, grilled something or ..........

Anyway, in advance, good evening.

It's a beautiful morning here.  Sixty degrees F with zero wind and high cloud cover.  The picture is from last night.  The kids belong young friends of ours.  I just love kids.

Here's Perry.

And here's Jack.

Lazybkpr wanted to see Riverbee dancing. Here she is.

No camera could hold mine. They all crashed trying to take a pic of me.
