johndeer on parade a new one on me
« on: April 25, 2015, 08:17:20 pm »
Seen this set up today at a parade quite impressive. He had john Deere 830, 730, 630, 530, 430, and a 330 that was not added in the picture. He had them hitched together and pulled them through a parade route using the 830 no drivers on any of the other tractors. He took them around corners with no problem. I do believe he had done this before

That's one expensive entry in the parade right there!  :)

My old 3020 JD is still my main tractor used here on the farm. Made in Germany (i think) a 1962 model. I collect the old Farmall IH tractors (have 12 of them), it's addictive kind of like beekeeping, but maybe i'm on the cure ;), i've not fooled with them much the last two years ???. Jack

Many of our local farmers still use 1970 vintage 4440's and 4450 John Deere's.  I am in the process of purchasing a John Deere 5100 M.  It's a German made 100 HP large utility tractor.  One thing about the Deere's, if you need a part, it is readily available.
