I think I'll gather up some dead bees and put them on the salad at Thanksgiving.... I'll let you know how that turns out. Wrong time of year for drone larva! Darn it.

I'm confused  ??? I go to the bee yard feeling good, working bees, warm sunny day, smell of the outdoors, ect. Then the bees decide they don't like me and i get several hits and get some swelling and some throbbing  and don't feel real good, But, with the bee venom i have in my body that the bees gave me 8) the swelling over my eye, my jaw, and ear, starts going away in just two or three days. Thank you little bees for the healing venom you gave me. Hmmm, something doesn't seem right about this :eusa_doh: Maybe riverbee, jen, B12, or Gypsy can figure it out????  Jack

Although the sting smarts a bit, I find it eliminates my arthritic pain for a few days.

Hey Bee! I think there is more protein when the bees are freshly dead, not ones that have been laying in front of the hive for weeks  ;)

Apitherapist are taught... sting the knee, eat the bee   ;) 8)

My chickens get all the dead ones in front of the hives so I need to come up with a new plan!

Lizards are nice white meat, similar to catfish, but not as oily. Very good eating.

Monitors and 'gators have a lot more meat than anoles, tho.      ;D

I don't know. The lizards I have cooked were 6 foot or more.

LOL!!

a 6 inch lizard.. could it be worse than frog legs?  Id gut it, and skin it and throw the whole thing in the deep fat fryer, breaded of course!  Softens/cooks the bones then you eat it like a smelt or a french fry!

HIJACK??   I think it's getting funnier with each post.  All these appetizing ideas probably made Perry eat twice as much at the fest today.

Scott, Wait... If breading and deep frying it softens the bones... thinking :eusa_think:.... Why bother gutting and skinning it! The whole lizard body would soften up with a crispy chicken fried coating on the outside, plenty of salt and pepper and a BEER. I would eat one  ;)

But Stay Far Far Away From My Lizard Scott, you have to find your own...  ;)

Sorry Perry, I can feel you turning green clean over here in Cali  :D

Oh how I agree with the above.  We, in West Texas, will eat it if it can be fried.  We like it even better, if we can make some gravy along the way.
