Is that lemongrass oil and a pheromone strip in there?

I melted an old piece of comb and stuck it to the top. The I cut about a 2inch piece of a drinking straw and stuffed cotton in it then put lemongrass oit i straw. Let it wick through the cotton.

One thing about those pots Yank..  you will be a cut out expert in no time using them!!    Outstanding idea on the straw and cotton.. I may have to give that a go!

I think I am going to remove the piece of plywood and set the pot on top of a deep of frames and draw the queen out. then put a excluder between
the pot and the deep.

I want to keep the comb in tact and then put a piece of plexiglass over the pot. Use it to let people see the natural comb. Display, if you will.

I also have a ice chest I am gonna try the same with.

Thought it might be a good attraction at a farmers market table.

Good idea. I saved the gourd the bees lived in all winter for a similar purpose.

Might want to spray a little BT on the display combs.
