After we were done cutting I started smoking them down from above and my buddy mark saw her go in. When we were done there was only a small anout of bee on the outside of box.

That was a fun one. Talk about some gentle bees.

Indeed! Thx for videoing..   Unique situation there. It was not "in" anything to cut it "out" of so that was just a cut...  LOL   I don't envy you trying to handle that soft wax. I bet rubber banding the brood pieces into frames was pretty tricky.  Glad to hear you got the queen!
