Very cool! I'd like to see one of these myself one day. Have to wonder what goes awry with the "hive mind" to choose this location.

neat. A swarm starts building comb wherever they land, almost immediately. I guess this one just kept going.

Here is some more of the removal. It goes black at 3:45 mark.
I started feeling nauseated from being hot, up in the air swaying in that lift, and trying to vacuum and look at the phone camera at the same time
Had to come down and thought I turned phone off. geez.

Thanks, I was a little torn on doing this one as they were out in the woods not bothering anyone.
But I really don't think they would have made it through winter. 35/40 ft up. Once I got up there, they hardly had any food stored at all. No protection from elements. I also think the wind would have blown and broke it. Comb was very soft.
It was fun.

i am unsure of the picture quality? i think these were initially designed for video? but have moved to taking high res digital pictures also. i have two brothers that own them, the pictures are good for the few i have seen but the videos are incredible. and i am guessing these two brothers probably have the latest and greatest...........
