My hives are in full sun all day, and I do my inspections in the late morning.  Due to my allergy and my family's growing resentment I was sensitive (not overly) to aggressive bees.  I had installed new queens but did not see any change of behavior.  Finally, after 10 weeks the bees calmed down!  :)  We have reclaimed our yard, the family is happy, and i enjoy being a beekeeper again.  I truly appreciate all of the advice and suggestions, which i will incorporate into my inspection routine.  Thank you all again.
