Thirst quencher

To 2 qts. of water add one sliced lemon, 4 slices of peeled ginger root, and a small piece of peeled turmeric root.  Refrigerate over night.  It quenches my thirst better than plain water and all the ingredients have health benefits.
I found the turmeric root at an Asian Market.  It doesn't look like much, but it keeps a long time in the refrigerator.  If you can't find fresh turmeric, you can substitute dry.  You will find it in the spice section of the grocery store.
If you like it a little sweet, of course add honey to taste!
