A sign mixup
« on: January 29, 2016, 05:50:36 pm »
We went out for seafood tonight. I laughed out loud when I saw two separate, non-related signs on the wall, one above the other.

A fisherman lives here with the best catch of his life.

“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”

The directions on my stick deodorant said to remove cap and push up bottom.  It hasn't done much for my armpits but when I pass gas it smells like a cool spring morning!

I think this is the place Iddee was talking about in the original post, it's where I tried a frog's leg. ;D

When I was working in manufacturing I proposed putting a large, red mushroom stop button with a sign that said" Do Not Push This Button"
I wanted to tie it to an input on a PLC just to count how many times it got pushed.

Boss said, " Nice, Neill, but NO!" :)

A long time ago in San Antonio, there was a sign on a business that read, "Strange Gas Company."   Always wondered just what they were selling.  :)
