good evening from montana ~

i posted a similiar pic of this last year......emmigrant peak, and the yellowstone river what a beautiful view earlier this evening!

we went to a local farmers market in livingston this afternoon to evening. lots of vendors, and some great country/bluegrass music from local talent in the bandshell.  i always look for and buy honey from a local beekeeper who is 80 years old and has been keeping bees for 53 years, and manages anywhere between 800 and 1,000 hives primarily by himself.  simply amazing!  the honey is alfalfa, i love it!  very much enjoyed visiting with him and his wife and yammering about bees!

for the guys:

and also:

loved the stuff frog on the back and no i did not get a picture of the rest of the bike........... :D

Enjoying your pics and vaca updates ~

Are you kidding?!? The GMC 'for the guys?' I would love to drive that to the local store, buy a six pack of Bud, some deer salami, cheese, and butter crackers and take a loooong slow drive into the hills for the day  ;)

Had a good day today.. Spent the entire day on the river..   Didn't catch much.. I caught a 4 lb Flathead and the wife caught three or four smaller channel cats..   But it was enjoyable to stop running in circles for a while..    Fridays rain delayed going through the hives to pull honey and extracting.. that starts tomorrow, so back to work!!
Hope Yall had a good weekend!

Yep, it's a wonderful weekend. Went to ER at 11 last night with a kidney stone. Came home about 2:30 this morning. I "think" I finally passed it about 3 this afternoon.

Going in at 5:30 tomorrow morning to have all upper teeth removed and get a plate. Just soooo much pleasure in one weekend. I am just overjoyed.

Dang Iddee...   You sure know how to spend a weekend..   I think I'd rather keep Africanized bees and not own a bee suit..
Hopes and prayers the stones are passed and the teeth go way better than expected..   If wishes could help youd be healed already.

Had 28 teeth cut out and a extra one cut out of the roof of my mouth at age 28, my Dentist said that if i didn't i would have problems all my life that my root system was bad. I have never regret it,. You won't have any problems with the upper false teeth it's the bottom plate that's a pain. Hope all goes well buddy, and if you ever find anything good about getting old? i'd like a heads up :D Jack

Welcome Home Riv!  ;D  Missed You  :bee:  As far as I know.. no fist fights here while you were gone.. pretty quiet. Let's see Yankee keeps coming up with more glory on his side, he's just being so selfish with all the good bee stuff  ;)  Marion is coming along beautifully. Uuumm... I have one entire hive, three boxes, full of red hummingbird food. Ef and his fam are still with us, such a blessing there  ;D. Let's see, Iddee posting lots of dirty jokes something about Dear Abby. Barry's hive's doing quite well. Perry did it his way and apologized to someone named Frank. Mmmmm what else Oh! I hit the 3,000 post mark, I guess I'm Smokin Hot! but that won't be for long cause Scott's always right on my donkey. Great chocolate zucchini cake recipe from Baker - I need to be a mouse in her kitchen. Haven't heard from Gypsi, getting worried. Ya really need to read about Dunkel, one of the best stories so far, a real laugher "Yesterday just wasn't my day!" Hmmm, lots of label sharing.

What else guys? We gotta get Riverbee caught up  :D  ;) 8)

I agree!  Fall Prep started today..   On the bright side... Had about an inch of rain the last two days.. so the fall flow should not be a bust. Had to add a few supers, will see what happens in them.
