Free Flower Seeds
« on: March 31, 2016, 08:30:34 am »
Our "friends" at Bayer Crop Science are offering a packet of free flower seeds again this year.  To get yours go to http://feedabee.com/.  There's also a short video to watch with a toe tapping song.

Have your beekeeper club contact them and they will send out a box full of them. Then you can get a handful of them at a club meeting. We have them available at several local clubs.

They sent a box to our Club, the group idea really works, it just takes some time.

Thanks for the suggestion.  As I am the Honey Plants person for our club, I will work on this.

only for USA It would be nice to get bulk for the clubs but I would imagine that some of the plants could be on the knocious invasive species list.

I keep getting told the seeds can only be shipped to the US.

Did Texas finally secede, and no one told me?

Thanks for the suggestions Lee and iddee.  I emailed them and received an prompt response that the seeds were in the mail for my beekeeping club.  I didn't ask for a specific amount, but mentioned how many members were in our club.   Dr. Langer is sending a packet for every club member.

Now have a member of your garden club do the same for it, so the request won't be from the same person.

Betterbee sent me a free package of Borage seeds with my last order. Started them inside and they are up and doing well.

Honey bees love Borage.  Good in salads too.  They will also survive some harsh treatment.

iddee, I hope you mean everyone request one seed packet, not 600 like I am getting.   :o
