I love crocheting and am considering giving knitting a try.. Any opinions on preference?
Also I'd love to see some of your best projects!!! ;D
-
I learned to crochet at about 10, then knitting in my 20's. Haven't done either in 35 years.
Lot of work for the reward.

Jack is!
Oooops, sorry, I thought it read Crotchety. ;D
-
I totally agree iddee, a ton of work for reward!! It does keep me sane during the winter months when I cooped up inside though... Its also a nice gift to give... I should be building bee equipment buttttt I lack a wood working shop
-
HAHA Perry! Poor Jack..
-
I like soap making better. Makes the house smell good, makes nice gifts, has good home use, and can be income producing.

Alright idee maybe this will get that itch! Heres a pretty neat hooded cowl that I made last year. I love that it eliminates having to wear a scarf

Im just really getting into crochet did my first throw blanket for my sister in law as her christmas. I do love that it keeps me doing something while watching some of my tv shows. Making my daughter a blanket for her bed now. Am so in love with homespun chunky yarn! the way the multi colors crochet or knit up looks way cool then the warmth from it. hears to trying new things and honing more skills.

Wow good for you!! Those are some big projects! I personally don't have that kind of patience, although a blanket sounds heavenly to wrap up in :-[ I'm hitting the yarn shop today ;D
