Title: help with my hives
Post by: Zweefer on April 22, 2014, 09:57:56 pm
Received some help that set me back a good couple of hours, but was totally worth it!  At this rate, all my stuff will be primed and painted by fall :)

you speak their language.  this was a purely volunteer job.  As you can see in the background, I was just getting started.  I have another stack just like it behind that hive.  only got about 1/2 of one done... oh well, nucs don't come for another week and a half....

The problem with 'Better Brides' is nowadays it's expensive tech the kids want.

I think pizza and ice cream works wonders with kids this age  ;) 8)

Agreed! They were just happy to be able to use the roller! Plus, the rule at our house is any woodworking project = root beer (Sprecher to be exact) so they help, they get a bottle.

Thanks.  I try to remind myself that they do grow up fast so enjoy the moments when i'm not ready to kill them and savor it.  (Not shown here is the boy's twin brother)...

You must be new at this! Look at those clothes your wife is going to kick your butt when then go in with primer on them nice cloths.  My kids (ok and me) get more on them then the project.  I still have some covers with teddy bears on them.
