Title: Wet honey question
Post by: tedh on July 28, 2019, 07:47:07 am
Hi Everyone,
I've got 3 or 4 supers of really wet honey, probably still nectar at this point, that I'm not sure what to do with.  We are finishing up extracting today.  Ive got enough room for 2 supers in the freezer.  I was hoping to start oxalic acid vaporization treatments next week end.  Any suggestions?  Thanks, Ted

Lay a sheet of plywood or similar in between brood chamber and supers. Apply oxalic. Wait and hour or two, remove plywood. Smoke top heavily or use Fischers bee-quick to run as many bees down as you can before installing plywood.
