Title: Peter Berthelsen presentation on You Tube
Post by: Bakersdozen on January 13, 2019, 10:23:49 am
Here is a good video to watch on a winter day, or any day.  Peter Berthelsen is a hobby beekeeper and the Partnership Coordinator for the Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund.  He also works with Pheasant Forever.  In this presentation, Berthelsen talks about the vanishing pollinator habitat and how it affects the native insect and bird populations as well as crop production.  Berthlesen just spoke at the American Bee Federation, in Atlanta, this past week.  A beekeeping friend, who attended, was inspired by his presentation and shared his name with me.  In this video, Berthlesen emphasizes that we ALL can have a positive impact, even if we don't own acreage.

Thanks for the correction.  I was using the information sent to me by my friend that attended.
