So sad.   :\'(

When we got to that point we had to go out to the hive and steal one frame.

I have about 1/3 gallon left. I don't think I'll get any this year tho, too much swarming. But we have a lot of honey sellers in the area so I don't mind buying  :) 8)

Thanks Randy but fortunately we have our local bee supply store that also sells their own honey.  I think I will have to break  down and buy some because I used up the very last of our honey for making strawberry jam and the blueberries will be coming in soon so more jam and then the raspberries.....I'm tired thinking about all that work LOL!  Unless some miracle occurs, I think our honey production will be low this year.  I only have one hive that has a big enough population to build out a super or two.   We have a swarm hive that has been a struggle to keep going.  No queen when we got the swarm.  They raised a queen and then she disappeared.  Gave them a frame with lots of eggs and larva, so I am hoping they will make a queen.  Also ,just got two splits two weeks ago, so they are just getting built up in a NUC.  Finally I have a NUC that I am using as a resource hive.  So all those folks that I was very kind to and gave them honey, will have to go begging someplace else or pay for it someplace else.  Has anyone noticed that if you give someone a jar of honey they expect you to keep giving them free honey?  Geez!
