Interesting.. have you downloaded it and tried it out Iddee?

No, I just found it. Won't have time today. It's tax time.

It gives you theoretical information, to get an actual representation graft of one of your hives you will need to input a lot of information that most us do not have the time to collect and input. It may be use full to a researcher or if some one would make a typical model file for a 2lb package, 3lb package, 3,4,5,and 6 frame nucs. But it still would not take into count the local conditions that will effect buildup.
as a researchers tool I think this could be useful and a good app for viewing models that are presented but for the beekeeper the observations that would be needed to get an accurate model would be to time consuming.

models are almost always simplification of the real world and therefore don't do such a great job in capturing the true complexity of the world..... initial conditions and dynamic variable (many of which would be impossible to determine but almost are never static... ie have only one value) will greatly impact any results < all this coming from the mouth of a former economic modeler.
