3rd swarm today. This one came from one of my hives. They landed in a bush and I was able to get them back in a box.
I found some queen cells in other hives today and was able to make a few splits. If this keeps up, I'm gonna need to but some more equipment.

Nice! Is that an ornamental pear tree they landed in? The first thing I built this year was some quick nucs. I think I have about 16 of them ready to go. I bought some treated 2x4's to string through some cinder blocks to hold them all. I don't want to pass up any swarms this year.

The stand? Just turn the blocks on end, two on each end and place another two every 6-8 feet or so to keep the two boards from sagging. I will post photos of that in time.

No, that's a camphor tree. It's covered in flowers but the bees don't touch them. Probably because they stink.
