Oh now that is sweet!  a flathead V8 is one of those sounds you never forget, Like a Steamer, a two lung john deere, or a Nitro rail..  the ONLY engine I havent owned is the flathad ford.. I have had PARTS... but never the whole thing..

Lazy, go back and count those spark plugs! Flathead V12!   That is a beauty for sure.

It's a Lincoln, Lazy. I had one about 63 or 64. It was a late 40's model.  

Wish I had it today.   :roll:    :lol:

I never realized Lincoln made a V12 Flathead.. what I get for being a Chevy Mech.. THAT is one sweet engine.. I want one!!  Now to convince the wife...  Offenhouser make heads for the V12 as well?

I have no idea who made what. At that time, all I wanted was a steering wheel, a 12 pack, and an occupied back seat before the night was over.  :lol:  :lol:
