Just recently moved from an old I-phone to a new S5 Galaxy android.
Any idea's on what security features i should enable or need to get for an android system?
-
the last 3 phones I have had have been apple, so I'm not sure, but I would be interested in wondering why you switched, and after you use it how the transition is?
Work will be replacing mine again soon and we will have the option on what phone to get...

My wife got an offer from work at a corporate price to purchase the Galaxy.
To good a deal for one of us not to use it.
I was after the camera features and a few other things.
It is much bigger and old eye friendly than my old i-phone.
No going back for me. I having fun with it already.
I would carry my tablet if it would fit in a pocket.

Yep. Discovered tapatalk recently. I really like it!

Looking like a couple of good choices on security apps already loaded into it.
Just trying to make a choice between Outlook and 360 to protect and help me find my phone!

App Killer... When you turn the phone on and it boots up, a lot of app's are preloaded automatically using memory, resources, trying to connect and update to and thru the web, and as well as consuming precious power from the battery. App Killer will shut them down so they are not running in the background.

I'll look into that apis, the Galaxy has a serious battery installed.
The power saver mode gives me a couple days of no charging.
Sure not used to that.
-
Kill all the apps and turn off data, wifi, and Blue tooth, when not in use and you should get 5 days to a week on a charge.
-
I'll try that also, thanks apis.

Now if there were only a way to delete the bloatware apps that come installed on the droid when purchased (like blockbuster).
