I like it!
Still wanting to set up a 24/7 cam on a hive in my yard. Got to find time to run power out to them.
-
Where can we find your camera feed for the swarm trap?
-
that is just too cool!!!!
-
I like that. Hopefully it won't be long.
-
I have satellite internet and if I go over my usage my internet slows down so I cant give out the live feed address.
I do run it 24-7 just not sure if 1 person watching it uses the same as 50 watching it. Anyone know for sure?
if a swarm moves in I will definitely put that video up...
-
That's great! I have a camera that I thought about setting up on the hives to watch them during the day. It's not for sharing over the internet unfortunately. I'm glad someone is actually doing it.
-
Ill try and set up a live feed for everyone to watch...stay tuned...

-
Very cool! Thanks!
-
i peeked in on it, thanks don!
-
It's not swarm season here yet got another few weeks...just have it out so the scout bees know it's there...
Please only peek in for a few minutes and don't leave it on longer than 10 minutes or so...I'm not sure if 50 people can watch and it uses the same bandwith as 1 person...and I have a limit on my Sateliette Internet...
-
50 people use 50 times the band with as 1 person do. You could stream it to ustream or something similar and then have people watch it from there.
-
Ok thanks...ill have to mess with ustream later...
-
I'll wait for the vid. Popcorn and a Bud on hand ;D
-
I started to look in but it was going slow so I thought maybe someone else might have been looking abd backed out.. I'll wait for the vid as well. Awesome idea!
-
No Swarm activity yet around here but had to show you the Dandelions!
Oh and I had to shut down the live access getting close to using up my internet...darn Satelite Internet...

Satelite internet? Ewww.... Tried that once... the wife downloads her work and POOF no more internet.. so that lasted about three days.. back to high speed...
Dandilions are going BERSERK here.. I love it! Dandys everywhere!
Went through hives today.. found quite a lot of queen cups.. The last hive I had to inspect also had queen cups.... and two charged queen cells!!!! First split of the year accomplished.. I think the poo is about to hit the proverbial fan!! YAY!!

Where I live, it's Hughesnet or dialup. Hence, the screen name. :'(
