Opened my hives today and it appears, to my inexperienced eyes that there are eggs in the bottom of some cells. Also what I assume is pollen in others along with some sugar syrup also. This is cool...

Good Deal!!! Congrats! 8)

Isn't that just the greatest feeling when you finally get into the hives and the bees are taking care of business! ;D Happy for ya Stick

Very nice stick. It's takes 6 days for brood to be capped so check back and make sure you have worker brood in there, and your good to go!

I remember thoroughly frustrating my mentor who kept asking "see the eggs?"
After a couple weeks I finally said yes just so he wouldn't get any more frustrated. I couldn't see them but I said I could. :-[
Then one day the sun was just right and the angle of the frame was just right, and holey moley, what are those!??
Once you see them, you know what to look for! ;)

Always brings a little smile too :)
