I don't think ot is going to happen. While at a sausage making class yesterday, I apparently scratched myself & it wouldn't stop. I knew my blood was out of whack, so called the doc, got bloodwork done and he admitted me in the hospital. I am supposed to get one more transfusion of platelets & then I am out of here.
I feel good. Almost all the other side effects of the chemo have gone away. May :)be I will have time to get the painting done. I should be able to build a lot of the frames tomorrow evening.

My best wishes for your speedy recovery O:-)
Also you may try to enlist a couple or more little helpers that like to paint. Just make it fun for them and you'll have it done in no time. Doesn't matter if it's smooth and drip free, bees don't care :D

Unfortunately, the grandkids live too far away. :(
The good news is that I have to build supers instead of them sitting on a shelf in a box. :). The recent rains should really help with honey crop. Normally this time of the year, we are already brning up & everything is brown. It sure is nice to see green and all the wildflowers still.

Good to hear you are having to build supers and better yet feel like it!
Speedy recovery!

Hoping for the best for you! :)

Hope you feel up to doing those frames and painting those supers. Get well soon!
-
You fax me a round trip flight and I will help bust out those boxes and frames!

LOL Jen. I feel pretty darned good, just not a lot of stamina. The doc thinks my blood counts will be back to normal by next weekend.
I also built a frame jig. It sure makes the frame building quicker. I also learned by making the jig that I am no carpenter! :).
The just gave me IV Benedryl, so it is naptime for a while. :)

I'm putting a few feelers out to see if I can get you a little assistance out there.
That being, you would accept it......
Get your rest. ;)

Thanks Garden Hive! Perry contacted WaltB & tecumseh a while back and they volunteered to help. I have felt well enough, I haven't had to use their assistance. Lord knows that I could use their knowledge.
I have also felt well enough to attend most of our bee club meetings. I have gotten a couple of guys that volunteered to help. :)

you take care of yourself beeracuda.......!!!

They cut me loose about 5:00 today. :) I should be good to go until I start the next round in a couple of weeks. That one is not too bad...

My veil is off to you Beer! Happy that you're nearing the end of your treatments :)
-
:agree: Guess you need to spend more time relaxing among the bees and less time doing that "work" stuff! Keep on putting one foot in front of the other Beer!
-
best of luck and a speedy recovery!
