Finished removing ratchet straps and netting,(had smoker ready) opened hives to removes capped frames of honey and move them up to the super, and lifted outer cover up a bit to fully open upper entrance. Girls were fairly nice, the hive that was so nasty still a bit testy but very manageable.

Lol still itches like crazy, back of neck and right lower arm, another preferred target. But finishes. Girls were far more accommodating this time.

Bet that feels good to have done. Looks really good too. What do you have under the cinder blocks?
I had a few hives starting to beard, adding more boxes fixed it for me too. Wont be long the heat will cause them to do it no matter how much room they have.
