Title: Christmas OUTSIDE
Post by: LazyBkpr on December 15, 2013, 08:54:26 am
Thats right.. there is someone I share my life with who thinks..  CHRISTMAS this year, should be spent    ...outside...

A big fire, Ice skating, hot chocolate..   OH that sounds so romantic!!  Until you add in the...
FROZEN toes, fingers, ears, and nose! Broken arms, cuts and scrapes, wet and frozen clothes!

Or not...   I skate about as good as a deer thats wandered onto the ice..
There is something wrong with this woman I found from MAINE..  I guess I knew that twenty six years ago, but thats why everyone else ignored her and left me an opening to ask her out...
CHRISTMAS should be spent wearing pajamas, cup of coffee in hand. Waiting for the kids to arrive with their currant girlfriend/boyfriend.  Watching the snow fall, remembering WHOS birthday this is while the aroma of christmas dinner slowly fills the house. Presents stacked by each persons chair as we talk, and laugh, and open our presents one by one taking turns while telling stories that make the Girlfriend/Boyfriend wonder what the hades they have gotten themselves into..  cleaning up the mess, washing dishes, taking the discarded wrappings out to the burn barrel..  Filling the wood stove, collecting eggs, and then retiring for the evening with a Rum and coke and SHE who shall not be named beside me to watch a Christmas movie we have seen twenty times before...  During which SHE will fall asleep..  as the movie ends, I pick her up and put her in bed, turn on the electric blanky for her and tuck her in.. give her a kiss.. then go hang on the inversion table to try to fix my back...   Then LOG in to see what yall got good for christmas!!!!!

Wherever you have it, and however you do it,

MERRY CHRISTMAS

to each and every one of you. I hope it will be the best one you have ever had, and all future ones even better.

I am working up the courage to be the first to create some snow angles wearing only a pair of shorts for a cyber Christmas card for you all.  Perry, you up for the challenge?
