Gorgeous day today, doors wide open with Pharrel Williams entertaining the entire neighborhood "Happy", a gently spiked ice tea next to me while attempt to paint the hives. The bee's really don't mind! They feel the love :) That is soo Cool!
These are the boxes that weren't quite finished as the swarms came in back to back.

I think you need a little Shandie drink while painting would also make it a happier chore.....

Hey Blue :) I am gonna try a Shandie this weekend! Let's see what thread is that recipe on?

HA! A novel approach! I would go out an hour later and see 200 bees stuck in the now dry paint.. :-[

Trust me... I was watching for that. But we have a good flo going now, so they have one thing on their mind, The Entrance! ;)

.......... :D
i have never painted the hives with the bees in them, guess i don't know what i am missing? :D i do have a friend that does, one side at a time....like scott, my luck i'd go out and find a bunch of bees all stuck to the paint, in my case stain..... :D and the other thing is, i am kind of sloppy when it comes to staining hives.

Ya know what? I posted this question way back when, and Iddee said that he had painted set up hives during the day before, so I thought what the heck.
