Title: Big Flo On! Should I Continue Feeding?
Post by: Jen on June 07, 2014, 01:46:19 am
This last week the bees have been zooming around having a great time being busy. The last 2-3 days they have been in hyperdrive and taking only half the syrup. Should I stop feeding until they quiet down again?

No need to if you have good nectar flow on.

No to the feeding, Keep pushing the foundation at them as long as the flow is on they will draw it with little effort. When they are intensely busy, they forget about swarming also. Lets all pray that it lasts for a while cause it can stop faster than it started, a few days with temps close to 100 deg. and it will shut the flow down.
