Took a much closer look into the hives. Both are queen right, both are working in deep supers ( have to add supers next week ), gave my lady burr comb honey, straight from the hive, she said tasted sort of like clover honey, brood chamber combs all had rim of honey across top, outside frames had pollen/ bee bread. Pulled several fully capped frames and transferred them to the super. Added second deep to stronger hive will add second super to weaker hive next week.. showed my lady a fully capped frame of honey, she was amazed how heavy one frame felt. Lol looks like might harvest honey this year after all..:)
