Post by: riverbee on July 01, 2014, 04:15:45 pm
this was an impressive 4 page article in the Minneapolis Star and Tribune this past sunday.  the article has some great photography, short videos, graphics, (really liked the 'What makes the bee a super pollinator' graphic)  and a pdf file on the USDA's Report on the National Stakeholders Conference on Honey Bee Health.

I read that article and was very impressed . The tank mix that is talked about is very lethal to bees when sprayed on almonds during the daytime while the bees are working i saw it this year myself when an orchard was being sprayed . Went back that night and saw thousands of dead bees outside the hives. These pesticides and fungicides don't give the bees a chance to fight off the mites or other bee related problems.
