barry, do you have wild bee balm?
up here when the bee balm blooms i try to mark the supers and extract by itself, or anticipate it and put some frames in for comb honey.....it's awesome, the slight hint of mint.

Toward the end of summer we have several types of mint that blooms. The main one i see and hear the girls working is called Beefsteak mint. My neighbors 20 acre woods across the road is full of it and if you walk up to the fence it sounds like a huge bee hive. :D Jack

Oh my native bee balm is in bloom now.  My bees and the bumble bees are working it like crazy. I am going to have to try some comb honey next year.  I think I'll make that a goal for next year.

This should be interesting, have a mostly full super of light to white very mild excellent honey, and now another super about half full of this amber honey. Using frame spacers on one super each hive, will use spacer on other supers.
