I have about a gallon or better of honey. This is some honey that accumulated from some cappings earlier in the season while I was camping with the wife and the boys. I had to free up some supers before I left. Anyways there was a approximately a billon ants decided to drown themselves in the accumulation. I would like to feed it back but I am afraid of robbing getting started. What would be the best way of giving it back, especially to the ones I'm feeding anyways?

hiya dunkel!
i would dilute it a little with some water, perry says 10%, i just gauge what it looks and stirs like...... :D
when i feed them back liquid honey, i put it in a one gallon pail, (depending on how much) or even a quart jar would work for smaller amounts. i set the pail or jar over the inner cover hole, and place an empty super or deep on top, and reduce the entrance.

What Riverbees said and I would add that if you provided a empty honey super above a queen excluder and the honey feed on top of this, they may filter the ants and restore it in the honey super so it can be extracted again.
This can be done when a few hives are provided all the wet supers for them to dry after extracting.
