Nice! So let's see... would you vacuum these, or maybe put a box underneath and slowly spatula them down and into the box?

I held up pulled comb frames with some honey on them the the edge of the swarm and they walked right on to the frame. When the frame was full I put it in the box and grabbed the next frame. The second frame is when I saw the queen walk onto the frame. After I put that frame with queen in the box, then I held the box against the wall under the swarm and brushed them in. 45 minutes and done.

Very Nice! How many hives do you have total now?

Must have been a small crack or hole, most times when the bees decides on a site they enter into it as quickly as they land. They must of had to single file into the wall for the queen and that much of the cluster to still be on the outside. Good catch. Now to get them prepared so they can survive the winter.

Ha, Jen, not sure really at the moment. Have 18 here at the house + 6 out yards. This is this is this summer catches, minus 4 or 5 that got big enough to be moved out to the farm yards for honey production.

Yea Apis there was a crack around the faucet. Im thinking maybe the cavity wasn't big enough for the. He said he had insulation in walls.
As far as getting them ready. I had 4 frames of pulled foundation in freezer and they have 1/2 gallon of syrup on them for starters.

The grounds around your hives are so nice and tidy, looks great!
