A late season rescue a few weeks back but an important one.. I received a call from our town building inspector concerned that a vacant house with a 30 day demo permit was home to a colony of honeybees. Sure enough we tore away the siding one by one and I was completely taken away, it was a beauty! I should have measured it but it had to be a good 4.5 feet long and attached to the upper beam you see above our heads. It was a successful removal and the bees are doing well!

When doing the whos who of people I'd like to meet, Rob is one of those at the top of the list.
