Well the newbees from Chester Basin,Nova Scotia have arrived thanks for the invite Perry. Well my wife and I attended a Bee School for a day last spring and we were instantly hooked with these amazing little creatures :). We lined up some equipment a couple of nucs and we were off. We had a bit of a rocky start with one of our hives, but with some sound advice from Perry and others like you we had quite a successful year. I think we had about 25lbs of honey in our first year and experienced making some lip balms, candles etc. Like I said earlier my wife and I are hooked and hopefully the girls make it through there first winter and we even do better in our second years. I look forward to lots of advice and I'm sure we will be needing help in the spring....... :)

Welcome, glad you came. I was wondering what Perry was waiting on. He better get on the ball. We need you Canadians on here. Beekeeping in the north has to be tough, and we can learn lots from you folks.
