Still needs to be filtered a second time, but represents only 4.5 frames from weaker hive, still have 2 deeps to extract ( yeah I know been lazy even by my standards ;) ) early light honey will be there am looking forward to seeing that again this would be Spanish needle honey, acres and acres of it within 1/2 of a mile.

Thank you, RB need to get that white honey before the girls move it to the brood chambers lol.
-
Good going. Now, if you can keep the 4 wheelers off the hives. >:( :o
-
YUM! ;D
-
lol indeed Iddee, did sorta set things back a bit. Thanks

@Barry:
What was the filter size on your first filtering, and what size filter do you use for the final product?
Lazy
-
Course tea strainer don't know mesh size, have second finer strainer gonna laugh, used nylon stocking before, worked very well
-
Dear Barry :) Need pictorial on how to get honey into nylon stocking
-
No issues. Cut about 6 inches off toe end, roll edges of nylon over mouth of jar, pull enough slack up until only about 2 inches protrude in to the jar, rubber band it in place....still want video tutorial! :P
-
:) So you strain into Gallon jug first, then follow the same example into smaller jars giving the second strain?
-
Yes this way I am happy that honey is as sediment free as I can make it. Use the double straining method for awhile. Note haven't used nylon stocking for years since I have equipment on hand.
