I set as a co chairman on the midian shrine oasis food task force committee. Responsible for getting food service back into our temple for nobles. Tonight I had my first one on one with the other co chairman who I know but not well. As we was talking he told me his idea on managing the committee. " we cant be watch maker managers where everything is perfect until a spec of dirt gets into the works. We have to be like beekeepers. If the hive is making honey leave them alone." I just smiled and said I understand and never said a word about actually being a beekeeper I figured he would find out in due time. Anyhow I did find it a rather good comparison on how to sometimes manage things.

very cool rat, and the comparison on managing others is very right on and very true! interesting that he said that? curious, where did he get that from?

He has owned a couple bars and manages a big pawn shop in Wichita. The pawn shop owners brought in a third party to help with management training. The guy they brought in told Brad his style of management was that of a watchmaker and he needed to change it to being a beekeeper and let his employees do the work for him without interference
