I’ve been out of the loop for a while. Life got pretty busy in my world this past summer. Hope everyone had a good year with their bees. We harvested a decent amount of honey this year from two hives. …around 165 lbs. After cutouts and some luck with bait hives, we’re going into winter with 7 hives. The biggest issue I had this past year was a pesticide kill in early spring. Surprisingly the bees recovered very well afterwards and we were able to get some sweet stuff to enjoy. Now that things have slowed down a bit, I can catch up on everyone’s posts.
Looking forward to adding this colony to my yard in the spring.
