Title: Hi from Waitakere, New Zealand!!

Hi All,

Just joined the forum today, after chatting with iddee it sounds like you guys are lacking some people from down under, so here I am  :)

Well we are from the hills of West Auckland in New Zealand and have been keeping bees for around five seasons so far.

We mainly have Langs and one Top Bar Hive that my partner Margaret manages.

We are into summer down here, so the bees are busy building up.  So we are busy building boxes and doing splits.
Looking forward to chatting with you all and hopefully we can offer some help to new beekeepers.

Hi Gary  :)  I was just about ready to shut down and head for dream land. Welcome! It will be fun hearing your stories and advice. You will like it here! Such nice people and so so helpful

Welcome Gary, and yes, given that your season is just starting, it will help those of us who have just started the winter worry faze of ours cope.

It will be nice to read about honey supers, splits, adding supers, etc. while we are in the midst of winter.  Welcome kiwimana!
