Sorry i have been awol for quite some time. The hard drive crashed was replaced and then crashed again. Good news Apple gave me a new computer for free so they could have my old one. After computer replaced i crashed and am fighting some lung problems. Good news is the bees are all fine. We have only had minimal rain in the central valley and still very dry. I will be back as my health allows i hope all have a good new year.

Riverbee the doctors are concerned due to an area in my right lung being what they call opaque due to my past history with asbestos. I have inhaled a lot of different chemical fumes while working and now am having some lung issues. So far the only inconvenience is all the time spent with doctor appointments and tests. Mostly still doing what i want to within reason.

Have been awol for a while again. I seem to be spending all my time in doctors offices lately. Still having lung issues so when not with docs i am out and about enjoying my time with family. The weather has been anywhere from ten to twenty five degrees above normal and the bees are filling supers with nectar. I lost eight of twenty hives over our mild winter. Some just absconded and don't know why. No mite problems. Well hope all are well enjoy your day and i hope to check in more often.
