Title: Easy To Remember
Post by: Slowmodem on February 14, 2015, 02:12:04 am
My loving wife has been my loving wife for 19 years today.  I thought I was being really smart picking Feb 14th. :eusa_think:  I'll never forget it, it's such a well-advertised holiday!

But, if I had been really smart, it would  have been the 15th when everything was moved to the clearance shelf and cost much less!   ;D

I know a couple people that discovered the same thing. ;D
Flowers, chocolates, everything is more expensive on that day. Even restaurants are hard to get reservations at.

By the way, Congratulations on your anniversary. Our 19th is later this year as well.

Thanks everyone.  We slept late and are being lazy today.  I brought in some wood, and we'll have a fire in the fireplace tomorrow.  Not working the weekend and being together is as good as anything else we could have wished for.

Congratulations Greg, and hope you have many more. When you've been married as long as i have (55 yrs.) you will tell her next Valentine day, that it's her turn to bring the wood in, i done it last year.  ;D Jack

  Congrats!!!!!
Almost 28 here..   Around 25 it wont matter anymore.. You sidle up to her a couple days before valentines day, and wiggle your eyebrows...

"Whatcha want to do for Valentines day baby?"

She will close her eyes and shake her head...   "Watch TV!"

"What?  Why do you like to hurt my feelings?"

        "You dont have any feelings.......................................

Free out right there, but i still made her sausage and pancakes.
"Thank you! I didnt expect you to do this!"

   Wiggle Eyebrows
"Your welcome, what are we going to do when were done eating?"

You're exactly right, Ef!  Life is still grand and I look forward to the next 20 or 30 years.
