Title: How to prepare Honey for County Fairs
Post by: tbonekel on February 26, 2015, 01:35:06 pm
I'm not sure if it is elsewhere on the forum, but I would like some tips on submitting honey to a county or state fair. I know there are guidelines that you need to stay within for judging, but don't know those.  Thanks!

That's a good link from G3. But let's get Apisbees on this with you. He does all kinds of honey judging and testing.

HEY APIS? WHERE ARE YOU?  :D

Not only that tbone... Love your optimism  ;)

Our local fair has a booklet for all entries.  With each category, they have the standards for judging spelled out.   Our fair has a PDF on line.....perhaps your fair has the same, check out their website.
