When i had hogs years ago i put out 3 acres of rape and turned the hogs in on it, they mowed it down. :) It looked like a huge cabbage patch, the hogs ate it before it bloomed much, had a sow pig in it and i couldn't go in that field until the piglets got big enough to come and eat at the trough with the sow so i could lock them out. You won't find any animal meaner than a sow with pigs. :o. Jack

I can say brookbeefarm that I can relate to that on a sow with piglets, my sister and I try to catch one when we were small and living on a farm in north Ga., we got out of the pen just in time and I though she would knot the fence down to get us so we ran off as fast as we could. Didn't mess with the little ones after that.

Thats the truth Jack.. I have some Stories I could tell about mad sows.. you just dont believe it till you experience it.
