Title: Nolo bait for grasshoppers nosema - does it affect bees?
Post by: Gypsi on April 26, 2015, 02:17:57 pm
ok, I guess I should maybe give away my tasty dahlias.

i would have loved to keep them but the grasshoppers just decimate them. So I researched nolo bait and it kills grasshoppers by giving them Nosema.  No warning about harm to bees on the advertising but I am extremely suspicious. Has anyone else tried it?

My current grasshopper controls are wild birds and chickens

I bought some neem oil.  It is safe.  I have hens, they eat grasshoppers. will have to do.

I hit more strike 3's around here, lol.  Thanks Ray

Some good information here.

Pyganic  is the best spray to use to kill bugs safely. I use it for my strawberries and melons. It will kill grasshoppers.
