ok, I guess I should maybe give away my tasty dahlias.
i would have loved to keep them but the grasshoppers just decimate them. So I researched nolo bait and it kills grasshoppers by giving them Nosema. No warning about harm to bees on the advertising but I am extremely suspicious. Has anyone else tried it?
My current grasshopper controls are wild birds and chickens

apparently neem oil might be safe.

has anyone tried the nolo bait? did your bees get nosema?

SSSSTrike THHHRREee. Sorry, Gypsi looks like no one knows. My GUESS is that it's a separate disease. You could try e-mailing the manufacturer.

I bought some neem oil. It is safe. I have hens, they eat grasshoppers. will have to do.
I hit more strike 3's around here, lol. Thanks Ray

Pyganic is the best spray to use to kill bugs safely. I use it for my strawberries and melons. It will kill grasshoppers.
