I just sent my check to the local-ish guy I got bees from last year.  Just buying one more package to bring me back to 3 and praying for swarms to increase even further.  He has a different supplier this year... Not sure what to expect.  But then again, I didn't know what to expect last year, either.  They are southern bees coming up from Georgia.  I wanted to try Russians, but these will be Italians, like the ones I have.  Shipping rates are crazy!  The package was "only" $100.  I'm glad I found a fairly local guy to get them from to avoid the shipping fees!
