Title: Looking for Beeswax
Post by: zachattack631 on June 15, 2015, 09:14:14 pm
Looking for beeswax for my candle company. I would prefer it filtered (via water separation). I usually filter through cloth a second time. Looking to pay 4.50 (will negotiate) a pound and Ill send a shipping label to have it shipped.

There are few regulars on this forum with more than 30 hives.  So you might not get a lot of hits with commercial quantities.  Good luck.

being from Illinois I would think that Dadant would be your best bet.  as far as I know they do take blocks of beeswax in trade for foundation < at one time they took all the bees wax from the Sioux Bee cooperative member so they never had any shortage in supply.    your stated price is a bit too cheap for me to even consider.
